First Requests for Repeat Medication

1. Please allow 7 days for the processing of your first request for repeat medication.
2. This practice only issues prescriptions from an approved formulary. This may mean that you may not get exactly the same medication as you have had previously (it may be a different brand).
3. The doctor who approves your repeat medication may wish to discuss your repeats with you. This may be by phone or may involve a consultation.
4. If you would like to discuss the medication you have on repeat before handing in your first request, please phone the surgery and book a doctor’s appointment.

For ongoing repeat medication requests please note:

Your medication will be ready 48 working hours from the time you handed in your request.  It may take longer for items not on your repeat list or for queries.
